blasting stereos...

band matters

i haven't exactly been involved in the school band for quite some time now. in fact, i havent even touched my own trumpet in ages. and so, i thought i lost the passion as a band member. i thought i had put my school band life behind me.

so yesterday, i went back to my secondary school to take a look at my band. the band where i got yelled at so often that i can't count. then, those darn feelings came back - that fear, that anxiety, and above all, that passion.

i thought i was all over it. but no, going back made me remember why i had joined it in the first place. it was like watching 'swing girls', that feeling that non-band people will never know came surging through me like a gust of wind. (ok, maybe i'm exaggerating) it was only then that i realised...

Once a Band Boy, Forever a Band Boy.
(ok, maybe it only applies to me, haha!)
