blasting stereos...

i love music because it brings me relief and allows me to express how i feel. i NEED music as much as possible because i don't know any other way to pour out my emotions.

i feel myself closing in again.

i need my keyboard. i need my drums, but what i really, really need, is my trumpet.

my brassy companions have stood by me since my secondary school days. i miss the few dark corners in my schools (albeit rumoured to be haunted) where i used to play my trumpet, trying to find my peace and gather my thoughts. my bandmates would be able to hear the haunting melodies and guess how i felt. (i was already pretty 'emo' then, haha). drums and keyboard, too, allow me to express my emotions, but they can't fill that emotional void like their metallic friends.

now that i have left my band life behind me, it hard to reconcile how i feel sometimes.
