the moon and the tree

do you have any height issues? no, not the vertically-challenged issue. rather, its the fear of heights. you know what, i think i have it, but i'm not too sure if i really do.
let me explain.

you see, do you think there is a difference between the fear of heights and the fear of falling? haha, think about it. i'm not afraid to look down from high places as long as i'm supported, but if i'm not supported, my legs will go wobbly, my palms will start perspiring and my heart will be in my mouth, not literally, of course.

so, what's the verdict? do i fear heights? or do i fear falling? =)

we often neglect the simple but beautiful things around us.
like the sprouts of falling water from fountains
or the silhoutte of the barren tree standing alone in the misty night.
sometimes, i wish i had a camera in my eyes
to take pictures of these images.
have you wished about it too?
i'm praying for an advancement in camera technology, haha.

the moon and i

a lonely man
the pale moonlight
a gentle breeze
and the rustling dead leaves

the man sighs
he looks around
no one's in sight
but a tree, almost barren.

"i miss you", the man whispered
the tree swayed.
no one replied
sad and tired, the man laid in bed.

the moon covers her face.
"lights out", she said.
all laid still,
and the cold wind blows on...

haha, pretty random of me. yeah, i wrote it myself. an adaptation? you're right, i adapted it from my brain, haha. never mind if its lousy, but that was how i felt when i was out in the jungle.

this may not be a good poem, but dear, the "i miss you" is for you =)
