belated anniversary 01
this week in tekong felt like one of the worst for me. thursday was my 1st anniversary with my dearr girlfriend, yet i couldn't be with her on that day. i had thought about that from the time i entered tekong that week. it was a very, very miserable feeling, just in case you guys don't know.
we went out yesterday, nevertheless, to celebrate our belated anniversary together. it was our first, as in first time for my darling, and for me. one year flew past like yesterday, yet i feel like we've known each other for years. so, how long hava i known my girlfriend? i would say approximately 14 months.
anyway, she came over to my place as soon as i booked out, and we left for school. yes, school, Pioneer Junior College, as i had to get something from there.
after which, we went to suntec city's marche for dinner. strolled along the esplanade and walked around the Theatre at the Bay. while we were about to leave, we were attracted to the sounds of a live band performance. it was really good! imagine you have a band where everyone sings and plays music. yes, ALL OF THEM could sing. it was really good showmanship in my opinion. we headed home after that.
oh by the way, the trip back to school was rather disappointing though. i miss the band, and i miss the trumpet section, but the smell of home no longer lingers there. instead, the trumpet section, which was one of the most united section back then, somehow branched out. it wasn't a pleasant sight. really. not when effort (though not great, but nor was it negligible) was put in back then to keep the section as happening and interesting as possible. all the bonding sessions just went to the trash can...
