blasting stereos...

v-day

valentine's just around the corner, so what have you gotten your other halves or your potential other halves? its pretty sad to see how commercialised valentine's day has become. a stalk of rose which usually costs 90 cents would be sold at $7 per stalk when V-day is near. is a dead flower worth that much? i mean, it has no use except to be looked at. ok, perhaps some psychos use it as a weapon and slap people with it, well, since it has thorns. still, it isn't of much use, is there?

or perhaps, as one blogger puts it, the flowers are just a symbol for girls to flaunt - the bigger the bouquet, the more 'face' she gets. are all girls really that superficial? couldn't the $7 bucks per stalk, or the money for the bouquet be more wisely spent? no, i'm not stingy, i just don't understand.

you take the $100+ used for the bouquet, plus the money for the chocolate (then again, i think its fine to spend on chocolates - at least it can be eaten) ok, back to my point, you may just decide to use that money to buy your loved ones some jewellery? maybe a simple pendant and a necklace? wouldn't it be better? isn't it more wisely spent? what are dead flowers when you have gold and little diamonds? it may not be much, but surely it is more worth it right?

aren't you starting to hope that i return back to my old self and keep all the negative feelings inside instead of telling you everytime i'm not happy? at the very least, it wouldn't be as turbulent as recent times.
