swimming

i woke up early at 8.15 today to start my pre-NS preparation, in other words, physical conditioning. i admit that i have not been exercising enough for NS but i'm making a last-ditch effort to try to at least regain my stamina. speaking of stamina, i've had very little of it ever since i had dengue. nevertheless, i'm trying my best to be fitter than my recent bumming days.

in order to exercise and not look like i'm dying through running or jogging, i've opted for a wetter choice, swimming. hence i started my training by walking to Yishun Swimming Complex (warm-up). swimming may not be as tedious, but if you swim 1km a day, it has to do something to your system right? haha, 1km may sound like a lot, but its just 20 laps to and fro. as of now, i'm swimming 1 lap at a time. hopefully by the end of two weeks (of which i'm probably gonna swim everyday), i can be back to my old swimming days- continuously swimming 20 laps, if not more, bwahahaha!

please, pray for me that it wont rain?

let me relate to you something i found amusing when i was in the changing room. (aye, please, i wasn't peeping.) anyway, yeah, i was gonna change out of my trunks and rinse myself of the chlorine water when i overheard a few primary school boys talking,

boy A: aye! cannot like that! must wear pants first then wear shoes!
boy B: no! cannot like that! must wear shirt first, then wear pants, then wear shoes, if not teacher catch you tucked out!

these two boys were helping their poor friend, of whom has been too pampered so much so that he doesnt know how to dress himself, dress up. its really hilarious when you see these kids helping one another out, i tell you! the thing was, they were from my alma mater! haha, it really brings back memeries of my silly past. haha.

oh, and btw, i'm not a paedophile!
