do guys get sprayed as well?
i'm referring to the aerosol sprays
that people spray during countdowns.
i was at one countdown in town
but i don't recall being sprayed.
i guess i just blend in with the surroundings.
maybe not that noticeable,
despite my, regrettably (sigh), fair complexion.

next up,
music and me.
don't think this will be interesting.
so move on to the next verse paragraph.
(haha how long havent i use that as well!)
anyway, i think i kinda like to play solos?
its just that,
hmm, how should i put it?
ok, step-by-step.
1) i know i'm not a very good player
2) some people think i am
3) it feels good sometimes to be looked up to
4) i don't want that image to shatter.
5) i like to be in the limelight (Leonine trait?)
6) i've got stage fright. dang!
which is why i'm bothered by the hong kong trumpeter
who said to me,
"i've been noticing you."
"you play very well"
"especially your solo"
ok, get this straight.
i did not play any solos in hong kong.
how then, on earth, could he have made that remark?
i've been thinking
and i think i've got a few answers...
a) i play louder than the rest.
b) i was taller than the rest, so he thought i was standing
c) the others didn't come in on time
d) that guy was gay.
