sorry?

who invented the word 'sorry'?
or rather, who started the trend of apologising?
my drift is simple
does apologising really work?
does it really help to appease?
does it really solve things?
i feel that when an individual forgives a person because the other party said sorry
its because he/she has to
and not whether he/she wants to
ok, maybe he/she wants do, occasionally
ultimately, you can forgive but cannot forget
(i'm sweeping...)
i'm making a biased statement, really
but i just feel that i have to blurt it out.
sorry has become so commonly used that its become like an excuse
a confrontational excuse, i would say
you admit you're wrong, but shirk the responsibility.
how convenient.
i dont deny that i apologise a lot
sometimes even when i'm not sure what wrong have i done
i just feel that 'sorry' has been misused
the logic behind 'sorry' is simple
just don't do it again, right?
but who is that perfect to not commit the same mistake?
i, for one, am not...
hurhur, just some thing to ponder over
chew on it...
