the whispering rebellion
the irony?

the flipping of pages
the unintended snoring
the rolling of chairs.
the clicking of pens
duh.

havent been in the best mood recently
the tonnes of last-minute homework
the knowledge of the dreaded competition
the inability to correct the people's music
the forgetfulness

its tough being me
(fine, its tough being anyone)
growing accustomed to speaking English
so much so that i forgot my Mandarin
chunky, yummy bits of my spoken mandarin
i still try to put on a smile
even though i'm pissed
or annoyed
or utterly irritated.
i feel so hypocritical

please lighten my load
please let me space out
please, i need peace
please...
