Trying to portray the me who: went to two family gatherings in a day

here once again
doesnt time just fly?
its been a year
yet i feel that i've just had my last new year celebration
a few months back.
yet everything's changed.
advice to people out there
dont bring your girlfriends to family gatherings
unless you are absolutely sure its gonna be permanent
(i know, i know.. you wont know until it happens right?)
guess 'tis the season for break-ups
oops.
doesnt concern me anyway

someone's missing
i was at my grandma's
usual family dinner
but somethings was missing
usually i'd coop myself in my room,
text messaging you and vice-versa
but i guess the years ahead will be different.

was just thinking
my life has changed a great deal
since i stopped contacting you altogether
my phone bills went down
drastically.
i hardly take notice of my phone
cuz i dont expect to hear from you anymore
(hence the number of missed calls)
life's just been a real difference.

relieved
not that i worry too much
since this is the second time i feel relieved.
i was afraid he'd approach me to talk
i cant lie about serious stuff
especially when i'm caught between.
instead, my mum noticed he gave me a cold shoulder
oops.
guess we dont have a common topic anymore
but still, i'm glad i dont have to lie.
