u are right in a way
knowing that they need
more air and faster airspeed
to reach the notes
they'd probably play louder
by doing so,
combined with the knowledge
that high notes travel further
they would sound stronger
than the rest

but in fact,
knowing that their sound travel further
or rather, stronger
(haha, dun really like louder
cuz ppl will overlook tone quality)
they should let tone down
such that it fits the pyramid sound concept
the 1sts may sound weaker
than the 2nds and 3rds
where they are playing
and sitted at
but over a distance
where the audience are
they would probably sound balanced
