blasting stereos...

a discovery

finally found something hopeful
i may not be able to play very well
but i have my strengths
in playing my instrument,
i realised.
my two 'ingredients' to
put into the 'recipe' of playing
good trumpet are......
air supply and my tongue
haha, morale boosted
without inhaling deeply
i could play what people
need to use a big breath
without much trouble
my tongue wont tangle
i have the basics all along *grin*
yet i never knew how to make use of it
i dont need to be the best
i just need to know i'm not the weakest
should i aim higher?
i got enlightened yesterday
"use faster air speed to reach high notes"
...> side note: which means dont need to tighten the lips that much.
finally grasp what it meant
i had a vague understanding
but Mr Richard Adams taught us
okay, maybe not directly
but i can comprehend it totally
what he says totally make sense
he reminded me of Mr Anthony Chew
tone, full value and intonation
the songs may seem easy
technically, yes
but there is a hell lot of things to do
things i am familiar with
things you need to do to sound good
i'm glad i know what to do now
though both are trumpeters (mr richard adams and miss ****)
i feel i learn MUCH MUCH more
